Channel 4’s ‘A place in the Sun’ is teaming up with BreakFM Newham to give away 20pairs of tickets to its show at the Excel Centre in September.
All you have to do is listen to our broadcast in August to find out how to win the tickets, worth £20 a pair.

NewCEYS have supported the project from the beginning by providing our current location free of charge. APE are continuing to explore the potential of providing vocational and non-vocational training for adults with funding from NewCEYS.

BBC Training & Development
BBC have supplied staff to support our training programmes and have also provided links within the BBC for work placements and further training for students. Radio students took part in a new web-based training programme in editing. Three members of the BBC have been volunteering their time to work on BreakFM Newham. We are looking to foster this relationship further.
Jack Petchey Foundation
The Jack Petchey Foundation has a long tradition in providing funding for young people across East London. The foundation have funded BreakFM Newham's radio drama 'The Estate' which trained 20 young people in radio drama.
East Potential - Focus E15:
East Potential previously ran radio broadcasting courses for five years as well as annual summer youth radio projects (Focus FM) for six years. They assisted with technical support and finance for the training of students for BreakFM Newham RSL's in 2003 and 2004.

NDC have funded APE from inception and continue to see the potential for gain for young people in West Ham and Plaistow. APE provide DJs and equipment for community events within the area and will continue to work closely with Lister and Eastlea Community Schools, providing training for those young people.
Apple Pie Enterprises Ltd

Apple Pie Enterprises (APE) is a Non for profit company whose mission is to form a firm relationship between the local/national media industry and its target communities. The goal is to achieve a progression ladder to all those who enter the courses and to capture the enthusiasm of the community to share its own views and opinions.

APE Media project is a major long-term project, which uses radio, DJ and music industry skills training, with the opportunity to access a number of London’s commercial companies as a toll in urban regeneration.
